2025 SHRM New York State Annual Conference

The 2025 SHRM New York State Conference will be held in Albany, NY at the Albany Capital Center from September 28-30, 2025. Come join about 500+ HR professionals from across New York state in learning, development, and networking!
Our theme, Leading in Times of Change, explores how as HR Professionals we can ensure that employees are supported, equipped, and engaged as they navigate the complexities of change. HR leaders are not only involved in the logistical and strategic aspects of managing change, but also play a crucial role in supporting employee well-being, fostering resilience, and maintaining organizational culture during changing times. By balancing both the human and strategic elements of change, HR can help an organization thrive even in the most challenging of circumstances.

Based on your selections, attendees will be organized into small advocacy teams and will participate in up to three meetings with New York policymakers and staff focused on those issue areas.
This year’s policy focus areas include:
- Artificial Intelligence in the Workplace: Exploring responsible, practical approaches to AI that support innovation while protecting workers and workplaces.
- Strengthening the Education-to-Employment Pipeline: Advancing policies that better align education, training, and workforce needs.
